Moon Key

ebook

Phase One of the LATCH Adventures

The Magic of the Moon . . .

If you believe that the silvery light of the full moon illuminates magic,
then Moon Key is for you.

Moon Key is the story of a foster child, Wendy Hilton. For some reason, Wendy's parents had to leave her in a basket outside of a theater in New York City. They wrote a note saying they would be back. But they never did come back.

At midnight on her thirteenth birthday, Wendy stands under the light of the full moon. She fingers the crescent moon necklace that her parents left around her neck. She makes a very special vow: "I realize now that my parents are not coming back to save me. I have to do it on my own . . . Somehow, I will find my magic and use it."

The moon's magic works. The very next day, Wendy is transported to the world of LATCH, the Lunar Arena of Transformation, Concentration, and Hope, and her whole life changes. She learns that she has had magic her whole life. Her necklace is her Moon Key. It unlocks the world of moonlit magic and adventure.

Soon Wendy will be lighting the torch of the Statue of Liberty and swimming with the sea lions in the Central Park Zoo. She will have her first friend and her first enemy.

Her life will never be the same.
